According to the credit information bureau Experian, each American has an average of more than $16,000 of debt, outside of mortgages. Another startling statistic is that the average young adult household pays about 25 percent of their income toward debt. One of those young couples once in trouble decided to document their experiences. For WBEZ’s The Factory, Robin Amer introduces us to them.
