Today, the Illinois Department of Human Services and the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) will accept a $50,000 award for their work bringing immigrants into the fold. And that’s not all—there are other award winners with strong Illinois ties. The money comes from a group in Washington D.C.
