Vocational education classes at all eight of Illinois' youth prisons are run through the Department of Juvenile Justice's own school district:District 428. Dr. Lanee Walls is the first superintendent of the district—she was hired in spring of 2008. She's with us to talk about current vocational classes throughout the department's facilities and what's ahead.
