Are the Cubs really so bad, they’re driving a legend into retirement? Apparently, the answer is yes. Although, according to Lou Piniella, his retirement is more about his age—he’s 66—and his desire to spend more quality time with the family. Eight Forty-Eight‘s sports contributor Cheryl Raye-Stout raced down to Wrigley yesterday afternoon to get reaction to Lou’s announcement, and gives us the low-down.
