On any given media Website, entire conversations and debates are taking place on comment boards. Sometimes the remarks build on each other to create insight, but the anonymity of the boards also breed hatred and bigotry. Eight Forty-Eight’s Carrie Shepherd talked with Kirsten Miller, Web editor at suntimes.com and Alissa Swango, a producer at chicagotribune.com about guidelines for moderating the boards.
