More Chicagoans Could Live in Poverty by End of the Year

More than 250,000 Chicagoans could fall into poverty as a result of the recession, says the Heartland Alliance. That means more than 11 percent of the area’s residents would be living in poverty. The Heartland Alliance’s Amy Terpstra explains their findings.
