The public knows a little bit more today about what went on behind the scenes as Roland Burris sought appointment to the U.S. Senate late last year. Yesterday, federal prosecutors released a transcript of a phone conversation that Burris had with former governor Rod Blagojevich’s brother, Robert. In the call Burris promises to raise money for Blagojevich while he lobbies hard for President Barack Obama’s old senate seat. WBEZ’s Robert Wildeboer has the details.
