Population Shifts Back Toward Cities

It wasn't too long ago that southwest-suburban Will County was one of the fastest-growing areas in the United States. But now, city living may be on the upswing. That's according to new data from the Census Bureau released last week. Kenneth Johnson is a demographer at the University of New Hampshire. He also keeps an eye on the Chicago area. He talks about these trends and what they tell us about the future of the region. Johnson is Senior Demographer of the Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire and a former professor at Loyola University Chicago.
