If you’ve got a home on the market in the Chicago area, the news this week that sales were up 2.4 percent might not have been of much comfort. Especially when home prices keep falling, plummeting an average of about 16.3 percent since last year, according to the Illinois Association of Realtors. Among the hardest hit sales prices were condo units. But, selling isn’t your only option in this economy. Dennis Rodkin is here to tell you how you can keep your property and not break the bank.
