“Unequal Employment” is a new report by the Economic Policy Institute and the Economic Analysis and Research Network that reveals an unemployment rate that is one and half times as high for Hispanics and twice as high for blacks. The gaps grow state by state, with Illinois being among the hardest hit. Ralph Martire, Executive Director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, explains the findings.
