Chicago musician Robbie Fulks is doing a Monday night residency at the Hideout. This week, he brings a new spirit the songs of Bob Dylan’s Slow Train Coming album. And covering someone else’s music isn’t something Fulks takes lightly. On his website, he writes: “The cliche is true – to sing something you have to feel it personally in some way. To truly feel some of these passages I would have to divorce, eat toxins, wander in the desert for many months, and meet Pat Boone in a dream with Milton Babbitt providing soundtrack.”Performance:
