The $20 million revenue shortfall that Pace transit faces might feel bigger now. That’s because $8 million in capital funds, which they hoped would come from a pot of $25 million that the RTA has to split among Pace, Metra and the CTA, is off the table. Steve Schlickmann is the Executive Director of the RTA, which has been working with all three agencies. He talks about RTA’s budgetary struggles and what’s up next.
