Hollywood likes to traffic in two commodities – youth and beauty. So in La-La-Land, age is usually more liability than asset. But one actress refuses to let numbers define her. 

In her new memoir - Raquel: Beyond the Cleavage – the legendary Raquel Welch talks about her life on and off the silver screen. Her long-standing career has earned her many accolades. And tonight, Women in Film Chicago will honor her with a 2010 Focus Award. 

We wanted to know more about the benefits and costs of being considered one of the world’s greatest sex symbols. When Alison Cuddy spoke with the Chicago native recently, Welch said it’s been hard to separate her true identity from the images that made her an American icon.
