The cacophony of typewriters, xylophones, bells, airplane propellers, player pianos, and sirens makes up the Ballet Mechanique, which was written by American composer George Anthiel in the 1920s. It all begins at 7:30 tonight at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Chicago.
