The Music of Machines

The cacophony of typewriters, xylophones, bells, airplane propellers, player pianos, and sirens makes up the Ballet Mechanique, which was written by American composer George Anthiel in the 1920s. Tonight Fulcrum Point will give the ballet its Midwestern debut at the Harris Theater – it's the grand finale of their 10th anniversary series. It all begins at 7:30 tonight at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Chicago.
