What American Airlines New Route Means for Chicago and China

Beginning this week, more businessmen flying out of Chicago on American might be saying “fwong AH.” That's because American joins United Airlines in offering non-stop service from Chicago to China out of O'Hare International Airport. It's a coup for American to have landed one of the coveted slots at Beijing Capital International Airport. But it also facilitates a growing camaraderie between The Windy City and the People's Republic. Eight Forty-Eight's business contributor David Greising tells us what this means.
