The revelations from new documents and a candid interview with General McChrystal on fighting in Afghanistan raise questions about how much journalists are really telling the public about the subjects they cover. Our panel of experts examines this issue and takes your questions and comments. 

Tim McNulty is a lecturer at the Medill School of Journalism and a former editor at the Chicago Tribune. Josh Meyer is the Director of Education and Outreach at the Medill National Security Journalism Initiative and a former national security writer and investigative reporter for the Los Angeles Times.
