When a Mythic Flood Becomes Reality, Part One
Rebecca Hunter—Spectacle Coordinator, Redmoon Theater Company
Jim Lasko—Artistic Director, Redmoon Theater Company

Staged on the waters of Jackson Park Lagoon, Redmoon Theater Company’s fall spectacle depicts the aftermath of a massive flood. When Hurricane Katrina struck, art began to eerily imitate life. So Redmoon revamped the production.

The company is donating ten percent of proceeds from ticket sales to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Spectacle ‘05: Loves Me…Loves Me Not runs September 15–25, except for September 20. Jackson Park Lagoon is located on the south side of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago’s Hyde Park.
