Preston Jackson’s  125 foot diorama “From Bronzeville to Harlem” explores the rich cultural history of a community and addresses contemporary subject matter. Preston Jackson has been a professor of sculpture at the School of the Art Institute since 1989. In a former coffee bean warehouse in Peoria, he opened a gallery and co-founded The Contemporary Art Center.
