Lara Golan presents Up, Up and Away!—a collaboration with young patients at Children’s Memorial Hospital via Snow City Arts Foundation to create superhero identities with custom theme songs.

Lara Golan is a pianist, singer, songwriter and composer. She received her Masters degree in Music Composition from Northwestern University and has had pieces performed in Prague, Czech Republic as well as the Chicago area. Lara is presently involved in Chicago’s music community in a variety of ways: teaching piano, writing music for various commercial, theatrical and personal projects, and working as a Musician-in-Residence at Children’s Memorial Hospital. She also performs and records with the Latin combo, Mono Loco and thrives on artistic collaboration.
