American Apparel Gets $300 Million Takeover Offer

This week American Apparel got a $300 million takeover offer from investors backed by the clothing company’s controversial former CEO Dov Charney. The bid came the same day that stakeholders approved American Apparel’s reorganization plan announced when the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October.
