Apple Opposes Order to Unlock iPhone of San Bernardino Attacker

Apple said Wednesday that it would challenge a federal court order to unlock the iPhone of one of the shooters in the deadly San Bernardino attack in December.

A magistrate judge on Tuesday ordered Apple to help investigators get into the iPhone that belonged to Syed Rizwan Farook, but Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the company will not comply, because doing so would have “implications far beyond the legal case at hand.”
