A tuberculosis outbreak in the small town of Marion, Alabama, has people on edge. The respiratory illness has claimed three lives in the area and 21 of the 27 patients diagnosed with Active TB since January 2014 are from Marion.
Officials with the state’s department of health are still looking for more people who could have come in contact with these cases. MacKenzie Bates of Alabama Public Radio went to the Perry County town to check on its progress.
