A tale of gangster crime in Lincoln’s time

In late 19th Century Chicago, a secret service informant uncovered plans for a very strange crime-stealing President Lincoln’s body. Playwright Will Dunne brings that story to the stage with The Roper. We talk to Dunne and Frederick Hatch, author of Protecting President Lincoln: The Security Effort, the Thwarted Plots and the Disaster at Ford's Theater, about the effort to take Honest Abe’s corpse.
