The mission of the Active Transportation Alliance is to promote commuting by foot, bicycle and public transportation. The group’s newest proposal could make those activities safer. Active Trans on Wednesday released a proposal for car-free streets around the city. Executive Director Ron Burke explains how this would work, and whether this plan would create more headaches for drivers.
