Attack in Canaryville prompts conversations about race in neighborhood

Last month, two black people were brutally stabbed in a Canaryville park on Chicago’s Southwest Side. The victims say this was a racially motivated attack by a group of whites. Four people have been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Cook County Criminal Court Tuesday morning. WBEZ’s South Side bureau reporter Natalie Moore talked to residents in the nearby Bridgeport neighborhood about racial dynamics on the city’s Southwest Side and gives us more details.
