Charter school advocates hop on bus to Springfield

Several bills currently working their way through the Illinois legislature could change the way charter schools operate in the state. Measures include eliminating the Illinois State Charter School Commission and also creating local school councils. Charter supporters are heading to Springfield to voice their concerns to lawmakers.
