Children Are Using Too Much Toothpaste, And It Shows

It’s been said that too much of anything is bad for you. The same applies to how much toothpaste children use, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

A new study released Friday found nearly 40 percent of children ages 3 to 6 use too much toothpaste, which can cause dental health issues. 

Dr. Sahar Alrayyes, a clinical associate professor of pediatric dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago, joins the Morning Shift to discuss oral hygiene for children and important tips for parents to know.
