Mice Parade, the band led by New York’s Adam Pierce, has come full circle in a sense. Pierce’s earliest shoe-gazer influences – music from bands like Lush and My Bloody Valentine, who cultivated the terrain of this droning-yet-melodic wall of sound genre – are all over the Mice Parade’s new release, Candela. The band is in town Friday for a record release show, and will build their own pretty wall of sound when they perform on The Morning Shift.
