Mucca Pazzo celebrates 10 years
The first time someone sees or hears Chicago’s Mucca Pazza, they might ask, “Am I at a Balkan wedding, or a college football game? Are these people serious musicians, or seriously goofy?”. The answers to those questions are: “yes, yes, yes, and yes!”. The self-proclaimed “marching band that thinks it’s a rock ‘n roll band” is celebrating ten years of making people laugh, dance and clap their hands by blending and bending genres-and always including a dose of theater along with the tunes. Mark Messing and Ronnie Kuller talk about the new album, and a decade of marching madness with Mucca Pazza.
