We continue our Faces of Failure series with a look at the policies in place at Illinois’ Department of Children and Family Services. WBEZ and the Chicago Sun-Times went through 10 years of data - and found that more children are dying even after the department had investigated the family for allegations of abuse or neglect. We look at what can be done to improve how the department conducts its investigations with Ben Wolf of the ACLU and Denise Gonzales of DCFS.
