New Session in Springfield

New members of Illinois’ General Assembly will be sworn in Wednesday morning. They new-and returning-lawmakers have a hefty slate of potential legislation to take up, including pension reform and the legalization of same sex marriage. WBEZ’s Tony Arnold, Reboot Illinois’ Madeleine Doubek and the Civic Federation’s Laurence Msall assess top priorities for the state.
