We continue our conversations with some of the Chicago women on the newly unveiled mural by artist Kerry James Marshall honoring 20 women that have made significant contributions to the city’s cultural landscape. 

Morning Shift sits down with Jackie Taylor, founder and CEO of the Black Ensemble Theater. The theater has been a staple for black theater for more than 40 years. We’ll talk to her about her journey from founder of small community art organization to a renowned ensemble theater.
