Open House fields questions and comments about plans for Bus Rapid Transit

Chicago Transit Authority and Chicago Dept. of Transportation heard from residents and stakeholders Tuesday night concerning plans for the Ashland BRT. The agencies say that public input could lead to modifications on the project, while opponents say they weren't consulted on plans so far. Brenna Conway of the Active Transportation Alliance explains why her group supports the plan, and Steve DeBretto, Executive Director of Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago, points to his problems with BRT on Ashland. CTA and CDOT host another Open House Wednesday night at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse. (Photo: Flickr/danxoneil)
