At the center of the shooting of Michael Brown was, ultimately, the way police interact with citizens and more specifically with African-Americans. Perhaps then it’s not surprising that a recent poll shows just over half of Americans think calling police helps dissolve disputes in a peaceful manner. Law enforcement expert Art Lurigio from Loyola University offers his take on the poll.
