Stereotypes for work-life balance persist for next generation
A new study from the University of Pennsylvania found that young women today doubt that their achievements can match their male counterparts'. It also found that women are veering away from leadership roles at their schools. Writers and academics Dr. Rosalind Barnett and Caryl Rivers call this the “soft war on women”. This is the idea that women are told they can’t lead fulfilling, happy lives at the office and at home. Dr. Barnett offers solutions on how to end these stereotypes for young women.
