Stewart Copeland

Stewart Copeland rose to international fame as the drummer for the Police. But even at the height of the band’s successes, Copeland was creating works well beyond the drum kit for film and television, and has gone on to compose ballets and operas. Now, he’s composed music for the silent classic Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ. He’ll be performing the work next month with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
