Unity Temple

This Saturday marks the last tour of Unity Temple, the famous church in Oak Park designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It’s closing to the public until 2017 for a project $20M restoration. The congregation is holding its final service there this week and moving to a new church while construction is underway. Reverend Alan Taylor, the senior minister at Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation, joins us to talk about the move, and how a congregation reconciles the sometimes competing needs of a worship community, and a famous landmark.
