USDA changing WIC

Earlier this month Illinois’ WIC program got rid of whole milk in the program in an effort to improve the health of its recipients. Representatives say that they are just trying to catch up with 1995 dietary guidelines. But a growing group of doctors and scientists are warning that these low-fat guidelines are outdated and even harmful to the American public.
