West Side police commander stripped of police power

Commander Glenn Evans was stripped of his police powers after being charged with aggravated battery and official misconduct. The complaint accused Evans of jamming a pistol in the mouth of an arrested man. After a positive DNA match, a city agency recommended in April that Evans be stripped of his police powers. We talk with Congressman Danny Davis of the 7th District where Evans served to talk about the news. Photo: Flickr/swanksalot
