For forty years, Nancy Faust Jenkins was the stadium organist for the Chicago White Sox. She made the song “Na-Na Hey-Hey …Goodbye” into a sports tradition and befriended generations of fans. Faust Jenkins retired in 2010, but on Friday she came out of retirement to play music for one game only, the Sox spring training game against the Cubs in Arizona. At StoryCorps in Chicago, Nancy Faust Jenkins talked with her friend Beth Finke about their unique friendship and how she herself got a start playing music.
