In a preview of what’s to come in his State of the Union address next week, President Obama took on identity theft and consumer protection in a speech at the Federal Trade Commission. The White House says the goal of the new measures he announced today is to improve confidence in technology, which of course, comes at a time of increased hacking, including a hack today of the U.S Central Command Twitter feed and YouTube channel, which was hacked by apparent supporters of the Islamic State.
