Pro bono work, especially in the legal community, is nothing new. But one foundation is trying to use the web to do a better job matching up IT, marketing and other professionals with nonprofits. It’s called Taproot+, an effort by the Taproot Foundation, and the site went live today. Jaime Guzman, is the executive director for Chicago for the Taproot Foundation, which also has offices in New York, San Francisco, DC and LA. He joins us in studio with some Taproot clients, Sarah Hidder, with the Green Chicago Restaurant Coalition and pro bono consultant Geeta Singh.
