Three inventions by scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory won R&D 100 awards this year. The R&D 100 is a list from R&D magazine and are sometimes called the “Oscars of Innovation.” They’ve been giving out the awards for more than 50 years. The three winning scientists Zhengcheng John Zhang, Ani Sumant and Seth Darling join the Afternoon Shift to talk about their inventions.
