We spoke with two high school students about the prospects of violence they face in their communities due to the prevalence of firearms. After the Parkland shooting, where 17 were gunned down at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, much of the national attention was devoted to these high-profile massacres. But smaller instances of violence occur every day.
