Things got real on this installment of “The Barbershop Show.” Angela Caputo of The Chicago Reporter joined Host Richard Steele to discuss this month’s feature story. In her report “Cashed Out,” she took a look at the housing conditions of CHA tenants living in privately-owned buildings. Lawrence Wood, lawyer and head of Legal Assistance Foundation’s housing division also joined the conversation. He spoke about his work as a representative for voucher holders. Tamiko Holt shared her experiences as head of the Housing Choice Voucher Residents Advisory Board, and local tenant Joletta Jordan also joined us live as a representative of those living in failing units.
