On November 19th, 2014, a star-studded concert at the Auditorium Theatre celebrated the legendary Mavis Staples and her 75 years on this planet. The concert featured Bonnie Raitt, Greg Allmann, Michael McDonald, Taj Mahal, and many more. We’ll hear excerpts from some of Richard’s conversations with Mavis Staples over the years. Plus, we’ll be joined by: • Music Producer and musician Jun Mhoon. Back in 1968, Jun Mhoon was a drummer touring with The Staple Singers. He was only twelve years old.
