2nd Annuual Earth Day Quiz!

38 years ago today, the modern environmental movement was born. Once considered a fringe observance, now Earth Day is honored by governments and institutions around the globe — along with millions of people. The event will be celebrated by a billion people in 174 countries.

Even Major League Baseball will celebrate Earth Day in ballparks around the U.S. We want you to celebrate with us by participating in our Earth Day Quiz.

Also, the United Nations celebrates World Environment Day, each year, on June 5th. It's one of the principal vehicles through which the U.N. stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action.

We'll test your knowledge today with environmental expert Howard Learner.  Howard is the Executive Director of the Environmental Law and Policy Center.
