In collaboration with Science Chicago, the Goodman Theater presented a reading of Reykjavik, a new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Rhodes about the scientific and ethical questions raised at the 1986 summit between President Ronald Reagan and Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev. The reading was followed by a discussion with Richard Rhodes and Willa Taylor.
A short overview of the performance that preceded this conversation is included at the beginning of this recording.
Recorded Monday, June 15, 2009 at Goodman Theatre.
