ACA Repeal Could Mean “Significant” Job Losses In Illinois
If the Affordable Care Act is repealed, the impact will extend beyond healthcare. That’s according to a new study from George Washington University, which says Illinois could lose as many as 114,000 jobs by 2019. U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley, a Democrat, says the state can’t afford to lose any more jobs. While President-elect Donald Trump has championed the repeal of the ACA, it’s unclear what would take its place.
