Analysis: State Supremes to hear Emanuel appeal

The Rahm Emanuel ballot challenge is now in the hands of the seven Illinois Supreme Court justices. The court Tuesday accepted an appeal by the former White House Chief of Staff. He’s trying to overturn an appellate court ruling that he’s not eligible to run for mayor because he doesn’t meet a one-year residency requirement.
